  • Mhmm... lovely nose of sweet red fruit compote, yougurt, and spicy notes of cinnamon and pepper. There is also obvious notes of flowers and vanilla. The taste is warm, sweet and savory. But it doesn't become flabby fruit candy at all! A subtle kick of acid makes it tickle nicely on the tongue and thereby prevent this wine from appearing flat and dull like a wet, lukewarm cloth sticking to your to your palate like glue.

  • Deep ruby inky in the glass, pronounced aromas and flavors, nose is youthful with red and black fruits, red cherry, dried strawberry, black raspberry, palate is dry and fruit forward, mostly dark fruits, bing cherry, berries, dark chocolate, note of spice and pepper, tannins medium and support the balance, medium acidity, full body, long lingering finish, can drink now but will benefit from some time in the bottle.

  • Bright and sweet nose of ultra ripe blue berries, raspberries, violet and rose petals with undertones of ginger and cinnamon stick. The penetrating aroma almost jumped of the bottle when you open it. After sometime in the glass, it settled down to a more balanced bouquet of roasted spices, intense floral and berries compote. Still no one can mistaken this for a wine from Rhône. Fortunately, perhaps it is skillful wine making that, it does not taste sweet at all. Just the right amount of residue sugar to fill the palate which echoed the nose with decent amount of acidity, fruitiness and gingery spice. Some mineral tones emerged after an hour in the glass. Rounded structure and delicious to drink on its own. Transition is smooth, finish is deep, spicy and lingering. The ripe tannins are underneath the structure as the base to carry the massive flavors across. Ready to drink as soon as it is opened but will also age for up to 10 yrs.

  • The wine was medium ruby in colour and offered red fruit, strawberry, herbs, spices, black pepper and liquorice on the nose and palate, with good acidity, medium-level tannin that was still present on the palate, and very good length. A good GSM blend that became well-balanced after two hours of aeration. Really nice. Would buy again.
