This kind of a fun wine perfect for that first glass at approximately 5 PM somewhere. It’s Pinot Noir, and from Spain, which is a little unusual. Reddish in the bottle, orangish in the glass. Smells like red raspberry, tastes like red raspberry. A crushed nutshell flavor and feeling. Welcome little wonderful bubbles. There is some accompanying apricot, orange and tangerine.

Strawberry color. Primary aroma of cherries with notes of cranberries and strawberries. Flavor is similar. Mouthfeel is medium/medium-light. Acidity is medium-plus. Light tannin character. Overall, its a simple, easy drinking Cava.

Part of a large tasting. Bright ruby red. Strawberry, cherry, cranberry aromas. Similar flavors. Light body, lower in acid. On the sweet side.
