  This wine was probably prematurely oxidized in that it came from a parcel where a few other bottles had turned out to be ox’ed but the thing was, it was completely drinkable. Like a LdH blanco or something, this was hitting all the right nutty notes intermingled with tropical citrus. Think key lime and starfruit. So while I think it wasn’t entirely sound, it was actually quite delicious and one experienced taster’s favorite of the whole lineup of 11

  "Brunch is the gamay of meals" (Chicago, IL): Intense note of peaches on this wine; the sheer fruitiness would almost make me think that this is a dessert wine, but of course this wine if quite dry. Sufficient acidity on the back end to gives this the freshness it needs to counterweight the breadth of fruit.

  1st of 3 bottles, one the the better Chenin Blanc's I have tasted. Loved it, seemed a little like Chablis, beautifully crisp and nothing heavy about it. Complexity. minerality, bright fruit, and clean as a whistle on the lingering finish. Loved it, drink over the next 8+ yrs.

  Un beau SB bien nourris, démontrant une bonne concentration, appuyé par une acidité vivace et une amertume de bonne alois. Bien sec et droit, il s'allonge assez longuement. Un peu strict sur la finale mais dans l'ensemble c'est vraiment très bien (même si pas aussi abouti que certains autres millésimes amha).
