  • So, here's the thing...the wine has a wonderful, developed color and nose - I suspect the wine was affected by boytritus with notes of honeysuckle, beeswax, and lemon. On the palate, the wine is very acidic and brisk with a little bit of astringency and tannin. The wine is quite full bodied with noticable alcohol on the backend..sadly. The wine seems mature on the nose - with a bit of oxidation to accompany the honey and what seems to be boytritus, but on the palate is seems youthful...DRINK or perhaps HOLD 2-3 years. Nice for a wine from the Maconnais, but the Alcohol brings it down a few notches...Still has excellent complexity and a long finish...This wine doesn't see too much sulfur, be careful how you treat it...
