  • Deep red-black with tilled earth, cedar and undergrowth accompanied by red and black fruit.
Fair intensity on the entry with medium acidity shows smoke-infused fruit veering to baked with dried black cherry and raspberry compote. Not that exciting; there is dried earth, dustiness about the wine, some raisins and drying tannins. Relatively easy drinking, clearly dry, the tannins are firm with a bitter chocolate edge and seem to build towards the end, augmented by the dried fruit and generous 14.5% alcohol. A slightly scorched earth feel to the wine.

  • 60% Merlot, 27% Cabernet Sauvignon and 13% Malbec

Medium body, bright purple color. Elegant black fruits aroma complemented by leather, herbs and spices. Dominant plum and black cherry palate with earthy finish. Mostly simple but balanced enough, nice acidity and ripe tannins. Drank with stewed in vegetables poultry. Serve 16ºC - 20ºC. Open one hour ahead. Drink now.

  • Fairly deep purple-red begins with a "crayon" aroma then interesting wildflower note, blue fruit, redcurrant, herbs de Provence. The palate has crunchy acidity, strangely a lavender note (not a Bordeaux linked flavour!) then firm, chalky tannins, giving way to black cherry with a hint of vanilla and chalk dust. Fun with a clean finish.
