Dark red in colour, good acidity. Medium sweetness with ample dark fruit flavours but the tannins still dominate. Although this does opens up with time and softens with a slight more tilt towards the fruit it shows this wine needs more time to balance. So I will let these rest for a few more years. Pierre Amiot say their wines start drinking at between 5/6 years. This is drinking well if you like the slight tannic edge. My experience is it will take 9/10years to blossom.
