So this is interesting. I came across this as a free sample and was at the outset confused by the packaging. This is one of the cheapest bottles I have e ever seen for a "big Bordeaux commune". It's a property owned by Fonbadet.. and you can tell. Old vines are a definite and this is unmistakably Pauillac.... power, elegance and complexity are all there. It's got that "terroir it." I really like this for the price and if you see it it's a good option for that perfect food pairing that you know only a Pauillac will suffice for.... but your cousins are coming over.
