Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 94 points

  • Dark, impenetrable red color; pepper and licorice aroma wafting from the glass; deep brooding wine, full of energy and only starting to unfold, you can taste grapes from Bessard, pepper, slight raspberry note, dark berries. Majestic wine.

  • Popped and poured. This wine was still very primary, a little lactic with raspberry cream, good meatiness and not too much spice. Round and plush with ample acid backing. However, it is so young and primary that I would’ve quite easily mistaken it for a New World wine. Would not open another for a long time
