  Dark, impenetrable red color; pepper and licorice aroma wafting from the glass; deep brooding wine, full of energy and only starting to unfold, you can taste grapes from Bessard, pepper, slight raspberry note, dark berries. Majestic wine.

  Popped and poured. This wine was still very primary, a little lactic with raspberry cream, good meatiness and not too much spice. Round and plush with ample acid backing. However, it is so young and primary that I would’ve quite easily mistaken it for a New World wine. Would not open another for a long time
