  Medium-deep green color; shows a bit more intensity than most of the Kabinetts we tasted. The nose feels ripe, aromatic and thoroughly attractive with fruity aromas of red apples, sweet white peaches, some floral complexity and subtle green-toned hints of reduction like a touch of grassy vegetal character and a whiff of asparagus. The wine is lively, medium-bodied and medium-sweet on the palate with very racy, acid-driven character, pronounced steely minerality and focused flavors of green apples, lemon marmalade, some floral apple blossom nuances, a hint of peach and a touch of unripe, green fruit. The medium-dry finish is fresh, steely and somewhat green-toned with pronounced acidity long and focused flavors of green apples, some unripe white fruits, a little bit of lemon marmalade and a hint of honey.
  
  A very lovely, focused and fresh Riesling with impeccable balance between very high, racy acidity and pronounced residual sugar sweetness, both characteristics cancelling each other out wonderfully. The very pure and intense fruit here was one of the most charming qualities here, and even though the slightly reductive (and possibly even a bit unripe) characteristics distracted at times a little, they also suited the wine surprisingly well most of the time. A very nice and crisp Riesling for now, but I wager it'll come together as even more lovely a wine if it left to age at least for a few years. It is capable of taking a lot more in a cellar, though. This wine received 7 points in our Kabinett Cup of 32 Rieslings from 2015, making it the 5th best wine of the evening. Recommended!
