  • This was wonderful with a salmon dinner cooked on the BBQ. Light yellow in colour, with not much on the nose - some petrol and citrus fruit. The palate is much better, with little if any petrol: it was quite youthful, with only the increased harmony of the wine belying its age. Cherries, limes and nectarines are the mian fruits on show. Off dry, but with great balance between acid, fruit and sweetness. Great QPR. I think I liked this a little better than Coop, but I am a Mosel freak! (A-)

  • Light gold. PETROL! some apple and lemon under the PETROL. Nice apple and petrol flavours, decent sweetness and lots of acid. McCrumb take note this is Riesling!

  • Light clear white/yellow. :ots of petrol on the nose then lemon, lime sprite. Decent sweet fruit flavours. The finish is just a little sweet without the acid to finish it off. Very good for the price though.

  • Medium gold, aged gold colour. Maybe the sign of oxidation. Musty petrol nose, varnish and spice. apple flavours again with the mustiness. Sweet long finish balanced by decent acid. The petrol nose was really nice for me. The mustiness was a bit distracting. Others, including an MW thought it was corked. I did not detect any TCA. My experience with corked wine is lengthy but not with whites so....
