I've been sitting on these bottles and finally decided to pull one.
I'm a fan of Petite Sirah and some of the best can be had with significant age. I just don't see "the others" evolution being one that will age well but then again this is still very young. I've become less interested in jammy wines and I get a sense that these bottles will not enter a savory phase of earth, tobacco, mushroom etc...
This is just modern and heavily influenced which is fantastic for some just not for me anymore. Would love to hear from someone who's had this we significate age as I'd love to eat crow on this one.
Keplinger Sumo or Ridge Lytton are better options for my palate.
Still burly, hasn’t really changed since our 2019 bottle. Aerated into the glass to try to calm it down. Pours inky dark. It’s good, but still needs time to integrate more.

Not so sure of the hype here....this is nice. It's well made, it's clean but it's also pretty basic. Lots of black olive tapenade but not much else. Seems pretty, earthy, pretty one dimensional. The fruit is good, just one dimensional.
