Monthly Tasting Group: Blind Pinots Worldwide (The Kenwood, Mpls, MN): Small pour. I generally like Raptor Ridge wines, but I've never had a sparkler from them. Unfortunately I didn't find this very appealing. It came off sweet and rather like a bull in what I would prefer to be a china shop. NR.

4 A very fine effort by Raptor Ridge. Lovely and complex aromatics with clear autolytic notes backed by layered fruits and stone. All you should expect and more from traditional method bubbly. I'll keep watching this relatively new bubbles program by Scott Shull.

Not a huge fan of this - Pinots from this winery are way better, but this was tasty enough, probably not dry enough for my liking.
