Crimson in color. 13.8% ABV. Stunning nose of dark fruits, olive brine, smoke and flowers. Medium body with perfect acidity. Bright, intense fruits in spades. Cherry syrup, blueberry, olive tapenade, and blood on the palate. Tremendous length on the finish. The characteristics associated with The Rocks Districe are ever present but compellingly subtle. Savory Tempranillo that will be best over the next 1-2 years.
Slo-ox for 2 hours drank over 3 days. Low to medium acidity, medium tannins with both red and black fruits. Cherry, plum, turned earth, and a hint of vanilla and tobacco.

Not super dynamic nose - some classic barnyard but muted - palate displayed red fruit, medium body, umami, briny and extended cherry cola finish - after the second glass the wine seemed to simplify rather than complexify - we decanted the majority of the bottle two hours - the early sips were PnP and maybe the best - have one last bottle and will skip the decant.
Also, fruit was very sensitive to pairings so be deliberate with food. Avoid anything sweet (grilled carrots etc) for certain.

PnP. First NG tempranillo I've opened and it's quite impressive. Typical Cayuse nose of MAJOR barnyard, ripe fruit. Medium weight on the palate, silky mouthfeel, mature red fruit. Typical NG finish of olive brine, stems.
Drinking very well right now.

Delicious and very satisfying Tempranillo. Aromas of black cherry, cola, dark chocolate, fresh cut cedar and flowers, with a distinct mineral tinge. More cherry-strawberry in the mouth with a distinct mineral and wet rock flavour. Super fine tannins and an incredibly long finish that ends in spices, cherry cola and rare steak. Fun wine! Drinking very well right now but will keep drinking well for another 8-10 years.
