  Dry, strong dark fruit flavours. Better with food. Higher acidity. Pairs fine spicy food - harissa, hot peppers in zucchini etc.

  Vrom the Vino Volo in Calgary. Interesting wine. Gamay is not something that I have a lot of experience with so take this with a grain of salt, but this wine strikes me as being similar to old world versions. It's got that light game and what I imagine the tundra might taste like. Right at the finish I get a touch of fruit. Not overdone, light, and not totally ripe. It's a wine that feels like it would work well with food. Way overpriced here, but not as awful with CT average value. Don't think I'd search it out, but I'd order again.
