Consistent with previous note but a bit more balance this time around....
Previous note:Dinner at The Whiskey Project in Old Roswell, GA with friends from my Army days. Nick helped secure a tasting with Xavier last summer which ended up being one of the best tastings of our tour of Burgundy, Northern Rhone, and Piemonte. Agree with the previous notes....this is so freaking young! I opened it in the cellar and let it breath for about an hour and then took it dinner where we let sit in our glasses for about another 30-45 mins. Good acidity, dark/black fruited with great structure. Should age well...open one in 3-5 years to see how it is evolving.

Drank on boxing day b4 a 2009 Peroline, and after some other stuff so no great recollections other than this was drinking very well and not at all showed up by the Snr Levet wine. Classy stuff, accessible now but only going to improve. Warranted more attention, but gave plenty of pleasure ! 93 or there abouts

Clear medium red. Elegant not so ripe nose, red berry, cherry, broth and damp earth nose. Dry delicious earthy berry flavours and a dry finish that favours the acid side of balanced.
Hold.

Not a good bottle. Thin and uninteresting. Perhaps damaged in shipping.
