  Opened and left for about an hour . This wine was tight and prone towards the tannins to start and then started opening up and the dark fruit and sweetness came forward making this wine a pleasure to drink.The wine is approachable now with decanting. Will wait a couple of years to open the next bottle . A well made wine that has the stuffing to be a great GC.

  Opened to evaluate. Opened too early. Purple/dk red colour, taste of dark fruit ,sour cherry, tannins are present leaving a dryness on the palate. Not as approachable as I had hoped. Too early to get any direction as to how good a wine this may be. After a few hours no major changes. A very tight wine at this point. Needs at least 10 + years.

  Opened to evaluate it,s progress. Dark red in colour, good acidity, slight nose of cherries, dark fruit flavours, solid tannic core that takes over as you drink the bottle. This has great substance and capability . Opened too early. Let this age
  Second day this was still dominated by tannins, good acidity, minor dark fruit flavours.A very tight wine.

  A burly wine consumed over 6 hours. Lively nose of crushed stone, tar, cherry fruit, and medicinal elements. Palate is very linear with stone fruit, humus, schist and stones, hints of pith and peel. Evolved nicely over night. Rustic and lacking finesse.
