Not a serious wine, rather, it's a fruity playful wine that benefits from some chilling, has some midpalate stuffing and bright acidity that makes it a good pairing with pasta dishes with creamy, lighter sauces. Nice to drink now.

Tasted just out of the fridge and while warming to cool room temp. Odd - minimal fruit, raw meat, smoke, and a hint of something herbal. Not flawed, just strange and not particularly enticing.

This 100% Cinsault is much more Rosé-style than a typical red wine made from pure Cinsault. It has a beautiful dark strawberry color and is light and fruity, but has very good acids and mild earthiness. I paid only $4 per bottle so I have decided to make it my pool-side Rosé to share with friends - but as a straight Cinsault it is a failure.

From Itata Valley, oldest wine growing region in the New World. Medium plus nose shows fresh roses, bright cherry, very floral, bing cherry, sweet spice, fresh herb, like a very fresh Gamay. Palate matches with tart cherry, fresh cranberry, pomegranate, strong mineral tones of wet rock, limestone, all in a light package, light tannins, medium plus acidity, medium alcohol. Harkens to Beaujolais nicely, but with fresher fruit. Excellent style and QPR.

Akin to a high acid, funky Beaujolais. Notes of cloves, smoke, and barnyard. 13% ABV.
