BdB on Pinot Blanc! This is without doubt an outstanding champagne. Aromas of ripe apple (not overripe), lemon, wet stone, and a touch of brioche (but not that much taste from the autolysis). No stonefruit. Lots of minerality like usual BdB but but a slightly different basic taste. Delicate mousse. 94+

96+ Absolutely brilliant expression of Champagne. Notes of pear, citrus, stone fruit, freshly baked bread and white florals leap out of the glass with tremendous delineation. Effortless intensity with loads of extract and chalky minerality. The finish spirals and lasts 3 minutes plus. With 5-7 years in the cellar this will flirt with perfection.

Giuseppe Rinaldi in Tucson, or Tom comes to Tucson Night 1 (Ciabot Tucker): Chalky with orchard more than citrus fruit and some subtle florals.this had terrific focus, lively on the palate, chalky, clean and flora on the back end. Well done subtle dosage. Mouthwateringly yum.

My least favourite champagne. Has not the elegance and finesse of his other wines. Too herbal and not precise enough. Still a good wine. 92
