Medium to full body, bright crimson to purple color. Ripe fruits forward aroma complemented by pepper and toasty oak notes. Cherry and blackberry palate with plummy finish. Fresh and easy drinking, complex and well balanced, lovely acidity and soft tannins. Food friendly, probably best match is stewed meat but tasted with onion soup and Manchego chees and was very enjoyable. Open two/three hours ahead. Serve 17ºC - 20ºC. Drink now and next six years, perhaps longer. Dec 18, 2020

Dark red purple color. Full to medium body. Soft tanines, medium acidity - relatively smooth. Noticeable aroma of oak, chocolate, vanilla and then black fruits and especially plum. Same on the palate. Very enjoyable. Great VFM.

Nice nose, great Rioja fruit. Not up to the 2010 which had more tannin grip and acidity, this one feels ‘soft’ by comparison. Open 10 minutes, will update if it’s better tomorrow. Next day: Better, upped score. Nicer balance of fruit and acidity.

Nut, leather, lacquer, cedar, tar, olive tapenade and dried currant nose. Dry with very good flavours and an elegant, integrated structure. Long, vibrant, toasty finish. 4/5
