Even more integrated than the first bottle but I got the overall feeling this is not for the long haul, it had lost some bite and was slightly flatter, drink up

I had a bottle of this vintage after a couple of years, it was fruitier than this and a better drink all round, this one had lost that fruit, just forest floor senses and was as the other reviewer said 'a bit rough', could be bottle variation or simply not one to keep, whatever drink up, and I have another one to go, soon.

I have sampled most of the big name Ventoux reds, and whilst there is a happy hunting ground there, many are to me over extracted, just to much of everything, this one was much more grounded, lovely fruit good balance and acidity, dark in colour with a plum berry nose and plum in the mouth with just enough spice, nice bottle.

Very fruity, quite strong tannins, a little bit harsh. Noticeable residual sugar. Some green elements. A bit rough for my taste. Eva quite likes though, gets lingering honey note.
