  Chosen for me by David Ridgeway at La Tour d’Argent. I asked for an under the radar burgundy and he obliged. This would have been way past it’s best in most cellars, but the cellar here is perfect. Slight mustiness on the nose initially, but it soon blew off revealing a stunning wine from a not so stunning vintage. So well balanced with gorgeous soft red fruit and light acidity. Tannins melted away. This was just a lovely bottle of wine in majestic surroundings.
