This bottle was not as intense as other Dundee Hills pinots we’ve enjoyed like Archery Summit and Alexana. Very fruity and not at all tannic but tasted a little watered down. Still, I would take it over most of the Russian River Pinots. It was time to drink now.

A riotous, deeply perfumed nose of blackberry crumble, Rainier cherry, rose petals, violets, and a touch of smoky, iron-tinged minerality. Lange Estate’s 2015 Pinot Noir is a study in precision and elegance. Beautifully integrated tannins and to a perception of overall silliness, it fans out across the palate before it's hemmed in by mineral flecks that emerge on the finish. 13.9% ABV
