It was awful. The nose smelled like ass, literally. $60 retail? It should have been $6.00 For their retail price, I will drink Peay, Windy Oaks, Inman, and Alesia. (Editor's note: score of 50 changed to 'flawed' wine.)

Personally I did not care for this wine. Moderate to good color, darker than expected and not as bright and clear as other PNs. This wine tasted salty, don't know whether the acidity was off balance or if my palate was off balance. A little better with time, but will not buy more.

Surprisingly tasty. Direct from winery, held well, it still had fruit, but serious spice came out, and it still had great structure. no faults
