An amalgam of five Rhône-ish grapes. Cloudy, pale. Aromas are appealing but do not call to mind fruit, flowers, or minerals (if pressed I might find apple). I puzzled over this and then it hit me -- this is reminiscent of Bea's Coenobium. That's the case on the palate, too, which is savory and very enjoyable but quite distinctive and I imagine not 100% "wine-like" to all tastes. We really enjoyed this but it sure is different.

White Rhone blend with a little bit of skin contact. Acidic/phenolic upon first opening. Lots of fruit on the nose- stone to tropical fruit, peaches, some greenness. With some air becomes much more integrated, with a fuller feeling midpalate. Drank with spaghetti carbonara, and the acidity made it a good pairing that cut through the richness.

Smooth drinking. Subtle buttery oak but not over powering. Creme brulee, vanilla notes.

Quite sappy and delicious. Nice and acidic, goes down way too easily.
