  • Som dessertvin är detta riktigt bra. Mycket söt frukt som balanseras syran och bubblorna. Passade ypperligt till äppelpaj med kardemumma.

  • Wine dinner at The Anchor, Ripley with Ray Nadeson of Lethbridge Wines.
Not part of the tasting, but a wine for dessert was required and the was the chef's choice. Really impressive from a often derided style as perhaps one would expect from a leading Barolo producer. Gentle prickly mousse, sweetish ripe, grapey, floral Muscat fruit beautifully balanced by an incisive acid spine that prevents any cloying. Very good with our Lavender and Blueberry Cheesecake etc. What's not to like (in context)?
    For drinking young.
