Not like most pinot blancs. Pale straw in color. If you serve it too cold, all you get is herbaceous aromas and flavors. When it's warmer, aromas of pineapple an cream echoed on the palate. Abrupt, herbal finish that turns slightly rubbery.

Wow what a stinker. From the folks who make such fantastic pinot noirs comes this terribly overrated (and even more terribly overpriced) attempt at pinot blanc. Given all the well made versions from Alsace and Oregon, which run about half the price of this, I simply cannot see the fuss that this wine has stirred up among some fanciers. While it is varietally correct, there is simply little there there. Not an out and out BAD wine, but simply overpriced for what it delivers. Pinot blancs follow a simple formula for a reason, and tinkering with this formula is not to be recommended. Again, wow what a disappointment.

Crisp light gold white. Pear fruit on the palate with some minerality. Light to medium bodied. Very smooth and tasty drinker. Good value at <$12, would buy more ...

Pale straw yellow in color. A subtle hint of straw on the nose. This wine is bigger than a Sauvignon Blanc without all the fruit, but not as heavy as a Chardonnay. Flavors of pineapple with a hint of green apple and a slight hint of cream. Very refreshing when chilled.
