Clear golden robe. Moderate pinpoint perlage, elusive mousse. Pear, apricot, golden apple freesia nose. Moderate acids, light body, golden apple, grapefruit notes with a hint of candied ginger on the finish. Delightful no-brainer that pairs well with Asian food.

The Second Annual Blind Tasting of American Sparkling Wine: Retail $24. Gewürztraminer, Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Gris, Riesling. Light straw with oodles of grapefruit. Sweet. Really sweet. I would hazard to say this is a demi-sec. Lacking a bit of tartness. Good to Very Good. 85-87 Points. thedrunkencyclist.com

Soft shoulders up front with stone fruit and melon flavors. Scant middle, not too much there. Noticeable residual sugar brightens the finish.
