A really nice chardonnay similar to the bottle I had back in August with a white floral nose which leads to a palate of apricot, plucot, melon and oak. The finish was smooth. Suggestion would be to take it out of the cooler for a bit before serving as it definitely will taste better. Served alongside flounder which had been sautéed with mint, basil and tomatoes

A really nice chardonnay (almost all of Paul Hobbs are). White floral nose which leads to a palate of apricot, plucot, melon and oak. A very enjoyable finish. Served with Sunday night sushi.

What a difference a year makes. And then two hours of air after the extra slumber.
Apricot is still the top fruit, but there is plenty of other sweet citrus, smoke, and minerality along with a balanced touch of vanilla oak. Really enjoyed it as it opened.

This was a surprise. It was more elegant and lithe than I would expect from a Cali chard. Notes of mandarin orange on the nose. Medium to medium- full bodied with a hint of salinity all very polished and complete.
