Plum, under riped bramble fruit, dried herbs, vanilla, and black cherry. Full bodied with old school Bordeaux litheness, but lacking in concentration. Oak buries the fruit a bit, but is still an enticing wine. Would be nice to have a second bottle to revisit in a year, but unclear whether there is an upside to this since it's my first and only bottle. Medium tannin with good length and mouth watering, fresh acidity.
