  • Wow, really an elegant wine. I wasn't sure what to expect as I couldn't find any information on this wine, so I was pleasantly surprised! Ready for drinking but I think it could also go much longer.

Drinks more at a Spatlese than Auslese level. Beautiful nose with minerality, salt spray, and soft fruit. On the palate, very juicy peach, mineral, saline. Really beautiful and a good wine to roll around in the mouth to enjoy fully.

  • After taking the first sip, I needed to go back to fridge and read the label more closely to confirm this was a Riesling Auslese. The nose comes across more Schurebe/Sauvignon Blanc, than Riesling. Cat phee, sage, lime zest, cardamom, mint, minerality. Palate is terrior driven with again minerality, salt, Lemon/lime and gelatin. Zero Botrytis, Nice spine of acidity with balanced offsetting kabinett style sweetness/fruit. Good weight and mouth feel, Alc. 11.5% should have been a dead giveaway to the fruit profile. Its good, well made and I can respect what it is but, this seems a hybred between a Bone-Dry Grosses Gewaches that will melt the enamel off your teeth and a typical fruit driven spatlese. @ $35 per bottle for 500ml not completely sure what to make of it. Curious to see how this ages out. Purchased as direct import upon release, stored accordingly and enjoyed 40-50 Drink Now – ? years... Na zdrowie
