I tried this one because it was a great price point on last seller. I have not previously enjoyed wine from the Margaret River. This wine was a good value but certainly not something that I wood pair against a sauvignon blanc from Marlborough. I did get a lot of citrus fruit notes and the finish was to me honey. There was also some grass and earthy tones under the citrus. For $11 it was a good value. Paired it with a British Columbia fresh caught salmon with a lemon dill sauce. It held up well.

Certainly more sauvignon than sémillon at work here, but for the price that's what one should expect. More citric than tropical on the nose, but there's a touch of passion fruit and beeswax on the late palate that puts this a touch above a pounder. Was good enough with chimichurri chicken and a salad on a Tuesday night.

The nose is initially pretty sharp with waxy, pungent scents of guava and pineapple, but this blows off rather quickly.
Relatively high levels of tingly acid on the palate. Flavors are dominated by grassy notes, grapefruit, lemon, and lime. Tart. Wraps up with a hot, alcoholic finish.
Not the best wine I've ever had, but the Last Bottle price was right and it gave me something to unwind with after a long week.

Fruit forward - Apricot and pear on the nose and tongue. A little hint of citrus. Less minerals than typical Sauvignon Blanc.
