  • A blend of Sauvignon Blanc (85%) and Sémillon (15%) from Xanadu Boodjidup vineyard. Fermented with "aromatic" commercial yeast, aged in stainless steel. 12,5% alcohol, pH 3,11.

Pale, almost colorless and very neutral whitish-green color. Very young, aggressively vegetal nose with green-toned aromas of crushed nettles, green currants, some chopped green bell pepper, light asparagus notes and a hint of cucumber. The wine is noticeably ripe yet very crisp and light-to-medium-bodied on the palate with flavors of grapefruit, some tart green apples, a little bit of crunchy green currant, light asparagus tones, a candied hint of gummi bear and a tangy citrus touch of key lime. Noticeably high in acidity. The finish is crisp, lively and very vegetal with long aftertaste of grapefruit, birch leaves, some crushed nettles, a little bit of steely minerality, light grassy notes and a hint of green currant.

A very youthful, noticeably herbaceous and very predictable new world Sauvignon Blanc. All about explosively green-toned vegetal flavors with a hint of ripe, sweet-toned Sémillon fruit running underneath. Wonderfully high acidity, but otherwise shows nothing interesting - there are thirteen in a dozen of wines like these. A simple, crisp everyday white for people who (for some reason) love these excessively vegetal new world Sauvignon Blancs. Priced according to its quality at 13,05€.
