Another nice showing for this bargain red - good tasty red and black plum fruit, some dark cherry, light tannins, bright acidity and a dry medium finish. Good with food.

Medium bodied, tasty with nicely balanced juicy blackberry and cherry fruit. Bit non-descript, tastes moden, lacking a little concentration to be new-world, but a very nice food wine. Drinking well, no need to keep. Decent QPR.

(decanted 1 hour in advance) - color: mid-dark purple velvet; nose: light oak; taste: medium-bodied mouth feel, tart berry fruit-driven taste, velvety, medium-length finish with notes of black licorice and black pepper, medium-length finish; overall: balanced structure and complex taste, ready to drink as of January 2019, decent QPR ($12/bottle + $3/bottle shipping from Garagiste), paired well with whole grill-roasted chicken and baked couscous.
