South Island Pinot Noir, aged in 30% new French oak.
Pale Ruby color. Sour cherry, strawberry, umami, crushed gravel, hint of cocoa. Loads of sour cherry on the palate, sily texture and tannins, zippy, with just a hint of oak in the finish.

{screwcap} A bit hard and youthful; cherry-laden, slightly bitter pinot, light in body, low on the oak. Medium acid, bright red fruit flavours, minimal tannin, short finish. Bistro wine, sound but unexciting.
