Greystone is a small organic winery on the limestone and clay slopes of Omihi in North Canterbury. Mostly growing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay but with some Riesling, Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc on the flatter more clay heavy parts of their site. Winemaker Dom Maxwell, was the GT NZ Winemaker of the Year, twice winning Decanter trophies for champion Pinot Noir and they've been named champion organic winery in New Zealand. Most recently Jancis Robinson picked them as one of her recommended Pinot noir producers in the world.
