tart cherry that is now fading a bit, nicely balanced and kept bright by good acidity, cedar and mineral; worked well with fancy chicken pot pie and homemade veggie pizza (except for the blue cheese/onion/fig one where its subtlety was lost); very nice, and maybe i will once again try to learn about older burgundies.
