  First tasting was a little "hot", kind of harsh. Actually was better after being open a while. Decent fruit, good paired with roast beef.

  A perfectly nice, inoffensive wine. Not my favorite wine, but I'd happily drink it. For the price, a decent value.

  Over extracted and lacks balance. 14.3% abv. On the nose: confected strawberry, and cherry liqueur with some woodsmoke. On the palate, soft acidity, but heady, with dark plum liqueur and bitter herbs. A bit flabby on the finish, which is suprisingly hot and shows its alcohol. This is below meh.
