A little closed compared to when I had a bottle a few years back, but there are some aromas of plum, raspberry, vanilla and spice. Medium bodied with a lovely rounded texture. Medium+ acidity, a little tannic grip. Very long finish but still lacking the complexity that will surely come with age.
This is a very good wine, but I think it’s still early in it’s development and it would be best to wait a while.

Primaire certes à ce jeune stade, sur les cerises rouges et noires, mais d’une belle buvabilité (effet 2017 probable) prometteur. Déjà agréable, il tiendra le coup en cave sans problème!

Decanted and poured 1/2 Hour later. Very approachable for such a young wine. Long finish. Transparent. Putting on weight as night goes on. Great balance. Could easily drink the rest right now. Fantastic. red fruit, spice, floral, light oak and all in perfect harmony.

Rich, fuller bodied, brilliant hue, finesse, oak moved to the background after this opened up. Drank over an hour and a half at La Paulee American Express Burgundy Salon. Fabulous burgundy.

Really crisp and present aromas with excellent darker red fruit, wet leather and clear seductive salts. Pretty full bodied wine with great fruit feeling. More reddish-purple fruit, slightly dark mocha, salt, excellent wood and spices. Good bite in the tannins. Some roughness here too, but this shows soil and character. A great Taillpedes with good development potential. 93 points. (93-95p)
