  • Really enjoyed sipping. Cora in allowed us to enjoy over a couple of days. Dark color, rich and full.

  • Deep purple. Classic Rhone blend with a touch of Cab Sauvignon. Opaque. Nose of dark fruit and tar. No secondary tones yet. In the palate more blackberry and dark cherry. Clearly high alcohol with a almost stewed fruit component. Surprisingly soft tannins and nice minerality. Good value for the quality.

  • The entry-level wine of the estate (located in the municipality of Gratallops, about 40 kilometers west of the city of Tarragona) with a varietal composition of 51 % Garnatxa Negra, 31 % Samsó (Carinyena), 12 % Syrah and 6 % Cabernet Sauvignon, aged for seven months in 300 and 500 liter French oak barrels (second use). An excellent wine, balanced for early drinking appeal. Deep black-red in color with purple hues and an inviting nose with scents of red and black berry fruit, violets, licorice, Mediterranean herbs and a slight touch of vanilla. The gorgeous and elegant palate has very good correspondence to the nose revealing abundant dark forest and gooseberry fruit, a round mouth feel, a fresh acidity and quite smooth tannins. Long fruity aftertaste. The wine is deliciously drinkable now but also offers a good mid-term aging potential. An excellent value for money.

  • Priorat wine fair 2019 (and related events); 5/2/2019-5/9/2019 (Tarragona and various places in Priorat): Should have started with this one at the Figueras stall. Not in the same league as the Font de la Figuera and the Clos Figueres. Coming after Clos Figueres made it look a bit simple and watery. This is not a bad wine at all, though. Around 86-88.
