  Decanted 1 hour but could have gone longer. Served with pasta bolognese. String nose of violets and rose. Definitively tannic throughout the evening of drinking over the course of an hour and a half but tannins did integrate into the fat of the sauce. Ruby and faint rust color. Trending towards meatier rather than stewed fruit but still picked up some of it. Another few years and I suspect the fruit wil be gone. Really enjoyable wine for the price point.
