Chenin Blanc is a grape that does well in Texas and Llano's is very yummy. The color is a really appealing pale straw with a nice crisp nose of apples, pears, and a little rose petal. The palate is really crisp with semi sweet finish that makes you want to have another glass. I have not had Chenin blanc in years, but it had a lot of the same characteristics that I like in rieslings.

Great summertime, refreshing wine. Light, fruity, crisp, semi-sweet finish, we had it with brats and grilled onion

Better than the '04, lighter pale color, less chardonnay qualities, more concentrated fruit
