I would have this as one of my top 3 qpr wines produced in Texas. I paid $6 for this and it was easily worth twice that. This varietal takes to Texas exceptionally well and has great potential. Off dry and perhaps just 1/4 a notch too much toward the sweet side. That said incredibly well balanced with great citrus and cream, some spice, and fantastic acidity. Would have drunk this with many food items from cheese to poultry to crustaceans. I bet a fantastic pairing is this with Texas crab cakes. I keep kicking myself for not buying this more often given its price.
