Very pale. Very fine nose of citrus, smart oak and straw. Very fine and long. Perfectly dry and full marks for retaining a lovely finishing acidity. Terrific value and capable of ageing further.

Medium straw yellow with a light hint of green. The nose shows honey, melon, cream, medium intensity. 10% is oak aged for just six months, giving it just a kiss of oak. Delicious, barrel aged, old vine Semillon. Dry, with medium (+) acidity and alcohol, this is surprisingly tart on the palate compared to the much richer and riper nose. It appears that Semillon has higher acidity in Mendoza than in Bordeaux. Really nice. Produced by De la Mota, from vineyards some 3600' in elevation.

Nice, fruity on the nose. Unfortunately, as mentioned below, the bitter notes reduce the score quite a lot.

Tasted hosted by The Wine Society, UK. Silver/gold colour. Lovely nose of limes, green apples. Less pleasant palate, slightly bitter.

Disjointed and hot. Not a good representative of the area or the variety.
