Three bottles of this, and they all took a while to get going. Not as fragrant as it usually is; the texture was smooth and luxurious, but the bright spicy raspberry fruit seems to have receded. In the glass, it got deeper, earthy and layered, ending up plush and like a fine Gevrey.

A little while since I had last one of these, but it's still going strong with its blast of red pinot fruit, sumptuous texture, discreet oak, and gentle gamy tones - brilliant

And this too was less expressive than it usually is. Perhaps it's down to the fact that cellar is so cold at the moment. This did perk up after a while, but the fragrance has always jumped exuberantly out of the glass in the past.
