  In the glass, lively rich purple color with fresh violet aromas. On the palate, elegantly bold, fruit forward yet, not overdone. Dark ripe fruits, black cherry, blackberry, currants and plum variations on the palate A vintage exibiting energy, nice extraction, balance and flavor. Showed significantly better with air. A real delight

  At Baldacci today, nose of black cherry, black currants, allspice, and a touch of earth, same on the palate, big body, very tasty, best wine of the Napa trip today, mouth filling fruit, very rich fruit, elegant, delicious, needs 4 years to peak drinking, and a long, long, long, flavorful finish and aftertaste.
