My last auction bottle, nose of black cherry, blackberry, cassis, and dry forest floor, same on the palate, big body, lots of mouth filling fruit, at its peak, cork was only 2/3 saturated which showed great storage, delicious with roasted chicken, very tasty, elegant tasting, and a long, flavorful finish.

Extremely aromatic nose of licorice, mocha, and beef jerky. On the palate, this was very very smooth. I got blueberry pie along with the above flavors. Tannins were well dissolved. This was enjoyed with grilled beef tongue, seared uni, bone marrow, and squid ink pasta. Stuff of legends.
I finally found this wine at auction. Nose of black cherry, blackberry, mocha, and cassis, same on the palate, big body, very tasty, almost elegant, lovely to sip, savor, and watch college football, at it's peak, delicious tasting, long, long, flavorful finish.

After painting the redwood deck for the last 2 days, I pulled this from the cellar as a reward. Nose of blackberry, black currants, and black cherry, more of the same on the palate, big body, rich fruit, tasty, mouth filling Cabernet Sauvignon flavors, at it's peak, long, long finish and pleasant aftertaste.

Very over ripe blueberry. A bit of a pastry character. Not really to my liking at the moment.
