Beautifully balanced wine.....checks all the boxes for me, nice raspberry fruit, gorgeous red color, slight bit of oak with the finish. This is a wine I could, well let me be honest did, drink in one sitting over a 4 hour period....it was that good and easy to drink.

I thought this would be in a perfect place. Drank over three days. Rustic, some tobacco, dry, didn’t give any fruit. Glad i moved on it. Drink yours and tell me I’m wrong.

Big dark Zin fruit with some black pepper. Oak was their, but for me in check... just gobs and gobs of that "zinberry". Suprised no one else noted the pepper notes. Went well with BBQ food.

The oak has really unfurled itself it seems. Lots of vanillin on the nose. The fruit is still rich and powerful being of dark zinberry but it's struggling against the wood and is a bit monolithic. This doesn't come off like a wine that would win that battle. Well outside of a classic Ridge Zin in expression. There are some who will think this terrific of course. I'm betting you know who you are on the preferences. This will last for some time. That oak might also last loudly.

Beautiful deep red color - check. Raspberries, yes. Pleasant acidity - you bet. A nice entry.
