Disgorged 03/2018 100% Pinot Noir sourced from Barbonne aged in stainless 6 months. Aged en tirage for 2 years. 8 g/L Dosage Armorial comes from the word “Armoiries” in French, so the arms of the family. Scented with almond, croissant and biscuit with notes of white peach, golden raspberry, quince and touches of orange blossom, marmalade and chalk. The palate shows intensity with a weighted moderate/moderate-plus body. An exiting mousse livens the palate and expands nicely upon entry. The palate shows the richness of the Pinot Noir with flavors that show off white peach, golden raspberry, quince paste and marmalade like qualities that come with notes of biscuit, marzipan, butter croissant and orange blossom with a hint of minerality through the finish which shows finesse.

Suprised how much reduction there was - couldn't get past it on the nose. Taste was fine.

Flabby, unbalanced, and lacking precision. Perhaps this was just a bad bottle, but either way I didn't enjoy it.
