We have had a few bottles of this wine, but the last bottle we had was terrible. Very musky smelling and tasty musky. Opened another bottle and it was a bit better but still not great. 2017 vintage and we were told could be stored until 2030 but need to be drank sooner...maybe

Light gold color. PNP, drank 2 glasses over 2 hours. I thought this was drinking really well showing lemon, poached pear, and wet stone on the nose with subtle oak tones. The palate has a nice oily texture with layers of pear and stone fruits, wet stone, vanilla flan, pear custard, very crisp acidity and a medium full bodied frame. Nicely done. Worked well with our lobster tails and sauteed shrimp. 91+pts.

Tasted on day 2. Round apple and pear fruit. Some richness. Plenty of verve. Some mineral. I think this is getting better with some age on it. Seems better integrated as the various flavor components seem to be in harmony. Very nice effort.

Combination of tropical and orchard fruit with good brightness in the middle. Best to enjoy young.
