Disappointed, I gotta say. Past bottles were effusively perfumed and fruity, dry yet undeniably joyous with Muscat character. This bottle, however, had none of that raucous aroma, instead it was muted and unyielding. The palate was similarly lackluster, lacking in fruit.
Perhaps a bad bottle?
Paired with choucroute garnie, this shoulda sung. It didn't.

What a great QPR! It needed 10 minutes to open up, but this revealed stunning balance between acidity and ripe apples and pear flavors, with a hint of lemon. Almonds, maybe even quinine, some mineral - an enticing and dry wine that really surprised me!

Pretty gold. Amazingly huge sweet floral aroma with a little grapefruit mixed in. Surprisingly round on the palate with lots of citrus balanced by zingy acid and minerality. Not quite bone dry. Complex, fairly long finish with more citrus and some nice salinity. Seems to have several good years ahead. Wish I had a lot more bottles!

Attractive nose if lemon and lime, this wine was crisp and refreshing, with a great "zing" of fruit and minerality, and a long finish. Love this style of wine. We need to import more from Germany.

Green apples galore.
I preferred this when it was younger. It is still good, but the riotous fruitiness has become more one-note.
